About This Site

Hi! That is me trying lobsters for the first time in Nova Scotia—too much fun! Anyway I thought I would tell you a little bit about me and this website. I am a twenty something southern gal. I am a Registered Nurse and have always worked in an acute hospital setting. I am very happy with my career choice and a few years ago I felt there was a lack of easy to understand knowledge on how to become a nurse. That is why I built this website.

I wasn't really sure how to build a successful, aesthetically pleasing website. Ok, I had NO IDEA how to do it actually. That was until I found Site Build It. Here was the idea—buy SBI, write about something (anything) that you are knowledgeable about, make it a website, and then make money from that.

So this is what I do now with some of my spare time. It is my little way of giving back to the career that I love and that has given me so much free time all while maintaining a full-time salary. In January 2011 I will be starting a CRNA program and therefore will be able to update this site on occasion, but still hope it will help out others interested in nursing.
