I disagree
by: Anonymous

I disagree wholeheartedly. I work for large large hospital system and am a data base manager/LD nurse. Our charting is out of control. We have at least 4 different systems and none "talk" to each other. It's maddening trying to remember what you charted where and when -- not to mention trying to keep up with the lastest requirement (those come almost weekly). The meaningful use criteria the government is sending down is the worst. No one understands it. I call it worshiping the false god. It takes me away from the bedside, leaves little time for teaching and generally worsens patient care. Thank you Uncle Sam.
