Nurse Entrepreneur Now YOU are in Charge!
Becoming a nurse entrepreneur is something that is near and dear to my heart! That is because I consider myself one!
There are many ways to be a nurse AND be your own boss. Personally, I own this website. I used my knowledge to create this site (all about nursing!) and now I make a little bit of money off it. Click here for more information on how I do this!
There are many ways to become a nurse entrepreneur! The following list is just a few ideas for you to ponder! - Legal Nurse Consulting
- Travel Nursing as an Independent Contractor
- Becoming a PALS/ACLS/BLS instructor
- Nursing Agency Owner
- Medical Supply Sales
- Medical Transportation
- Home Health Independent Contractor
- Independent Case Manager
If you think starting your own nursing business may be for you, remember you will need a plan. Nurses are used to having a set of guideline to follow for standardized care. I suggest doing the same thing to set out what you want for your business to be! Whatever you decide to do, you will need to examine a few things first. What kind of funding will you need as a start up? Who will your client be? How will you reach those clients? Will you work with a business partner or alone? Who will you turn to for advice? I TRULY believe in nurses in business. This type of career path is hard work and takes a bit of thinking outside of the box. The work you put in though can lead to benefits such as fulfillment in your own success, a passive income, more time with your family, and you may actually be able to fill a void in your local community that can only be filled by a nurse!
